Clarke Quay
Situated upstream of the mouth of the Singapore River, Clarke Quay really comes to life at night with an abundance of colorful neon lighting. Warehouses have been restored to house various restaurants and nightclubs, and Chinese junks (tongkangs) have been moored and converted into floating bars.
I was lucky enough to have a couple of local friends show me this somewhat hidden vantage point. If you know the right public car park you can walk around and find your way to this photo spot. I thought it was a bit funny to call a parking garage a car park. When I hear that phrase, I started thinking about cars going to relax and play with each other in a park.
