Indoor Gas Station
WTF?! Well, that's what I was thinking when I came across this indoor gas station in the hills of Western Nepal. It's the only indoor gas station I came across in Nepal, or the world, for that matter. While it's pretty common to see some ingenuinity applied in lesser developed countries, I'm not sure the logic behind this one? I guess it makes it harder to steal gas after hours?
I'd like to believe it's not really a functioning gas station, but then again, I don't think it's actually a showroom of fuel pumps either. You never know what you'll come across when traveling, and that's all part of the fun. Still, would be curious what's really going on here.
