Pilgrims Of Ethiopia Part 2

I'm more of a landscape person, enjoying the beautiful spoils of nature, but more and more, I find myself enjoying getting some portraits of locals. It can often be hard in places to strike up a rapport and get someone to pose for you.

Luckily, when in Africa, there's a much higher chance of this happening. Granted, it can vary quite a bit from country to country, but one thing is pretty constant - young children are usually more friendly and welcoming to having their photo taken. I've definitely nearly been mobbed by children in the past, all wanting their photo taken.

Being in Lalibela days before Ethiopian Christmas - gold mine of portrait opportunities. While some people weren't interested in having their photo taken, there was more than enough that lined up just for me to take their photo.
