Tufa Columns At Sunset

I've been wanting to visit Mono Lake and its tufa formations ever since I found out about it. It's an otherworldly place just east of Yosemite National Park in Eastern California. I started my day a bit late and made a stop on the way to check out a cave, so I arrived a bit into sunset.

This is one of the few photos I was able to nab before it got too dark for those beautiful blue hour colors. I came back the following day to see it in the morning. The South Tufa region of Mono Lake is where you can see all the wonderful tufa columns. Definitely one of California's many gems.
