Commerson's Dolphins

I like to think of these dolphins as mini-orcas, although their nickname of Panda Dolphin is equally fun. This species of dolphin is primarily found off the coast of Argentina. While in Patagonia I took a small boat cruise out into the ocean to spot these playful dolphins.

I found the Commerson's dolphin pretty difficult to shoot. They like to swim directly in front of the bow of boats, and are quite fast and agile. Combine that with a boat full of tourists scrambling to get a glimpse, and it's a recipe for a small bit of success.
