Tropical Faroes
The small village of Nolsoy in the Faroe Islands has a good sense of humor. While it's not really as cold as you might expect it to be given how close the Faroes are to the Arctic, it's not exactly Hawaii either. When you get off the ferry to the island, you're treated to a beach of sorts, with its own plywood palm tree added for effect.
A short walk later you're in the village center where you can find some nice street art murals like this one. Have to enjoy the girl with some flowers in her hair. It's like a Polynesian island where the people have leis and a flower or two in their hair, except it's in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean and you'd do well to come prepared for some chilly weather.
