View From The Westin Seattle
Last week I had a business trip to Seattle, and while I unfortunately don't really have time for sightseeing, I did manage to at least grab a photo from my room on the 36th floor of The Westin Seattle in the morning. While the hotel is definitely showing it's age, it's still a nice hotel with a great location in Belltown.
The hotel is one of those circular tower type buildings. I guess some people must like the way circular buildings look from the outside, but on the inside they're never all that amazing. You always end up with some weird room shapes that seem a little less than practical, or almost wasteful. In any event, I booked a follow up trip to this same hotel, so I still like it, and I like staying at SPG properties in general.
