Donkey 18
The things you see walking the streets of old Trinidad. This man and his donkey, with the number 18 seared into its hind. Given the difficulty and cost of importing cars and gasoline, horses and donkeys help fill the gap both in terms of transportation and as general beasts of burden to assist in work.
I like the quiet nature of this man behind his donkey. Maybe he'll go somewhere soon, or maybe he'll sit there for another hour, relaxing. I don't know, but in my momentary encounter, he looks like he probably has a lot of stress than most people stateside.
A peaceful moment on the streets of Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
