Ushuaia
View of the southernmost city in the world, Ushuaia at sunset. Taken from just outside the Arakur hotel, on the east side of the city. Ushuaia is the embarkation point for many Antarctic cruises.
Nicknamed Fin del Mundo (End of the World), the scenery here is beyond incredible. As I flew in, I was in a state of utter amazement, believing it might have been one of the most beautiful places I had ever seen. Snow-capped mountains with lush green trees below, intermixed with blue lakes and rivers everywhere. I found myself mouthing "Wow" over and and over again.
Looking out over the End of the World.
