The Allure Of Antarctica
With the spirit of exploration, I headed out on a short two week expedition to Antarctica. Well, I guess it's a huge spirit, but a small expedition. The golden age of exploration on this Earth has passed, but perhaps a new age will rise again someday, somewhere.
Perhaps no trip has changed me so much as a visit to the White Continent. It's precious, special, and always surprising. No trip has left me wanting to return more than Antarctica. I want to go back. I must go back. But, when and how?
Having gone on a relatively modest trip length from South America, all I can think about, is going by way of New Zealand. Seeing literally a different side of Antarctica, and on a journey not of a couple weeks but of a month. I think I need a trip sponsor?
