Entering Ilulissat By Dog Sled

After a two day dog sledding expedition, this is the view I was treated to when I was just outside of town. I quite quickly hopped off the sled after the dogs reached this small peak, and snapped a few photos. In the distance about 1/3rd of the way in from the left, you can start to see some of the Ilulissat buildings if you zoom in.

After getting back on the sled, it was time for some downhill action. SO MUCH FUN!! Going downhill on a dog sled, you get some really good speed going and it's just pretty much a whole lot of awesome all around. You know you're going fast on a dog sled when the dogs have to run behind the sled for safety, and the Greenlandic sled driver has to constantly break to slow down. Truly a memorable experience.
