The Snow That Grows

When viewed from a bit further away, these white shrubs tend to blend in together and start to look like snow covering the mountain. It's a bit of a surreal sight to see in the middle of Namibia.

Damaraland is definitely quite unique in terms of its landscape appeal. It manages to separate itself from other areas of Namibia, with its small, jagged mountains. It truly is quite a beautiful place to wonder around, be it by SUV or a hulking elephant safari vehicle that manages to capture every tiny nuance in the bumpy road below.
