Desert Train
On one of my first days in Namibia, as I was driving through the desert I saw this train approaching. As you don't really see a whole lot of vehicles in general, I pulled over and quickly grabbed my camera off the passenger seat and started shooting. The conductor gave me a friendly wave.
The people I encountered in Namibia were all quite friendly. As you drive down the highways away from the very few cities, you will usually see people waving to you. It was such a welcoming feeling that all over the country, whenever passing by people be it road workers, goatherders, or other villagers, they would all generally wave to me. I did my best to wave back, although admittedly most of the time it was windows up and a/c on.
