Sunset In Damaraland

For something that happens everyday (unless you're at a polar extreme), it's a shame how infrequently I actually get to watch the sunset. Sure I see it, but usually as I'm driving somewhere, and not really able to enjoy or appreciate it. When I travel I often make it a priority to figure out where I'll be at sunset to make sure I can enjoy a nice view.

In Namibia, and I suspect the rest of southern Africa, they have 'sundowners.' Basically, if you're on a safari or some other sort of related tour, you find a nice spot to enjoy the sunset with a beer or some other drink. In this case, it was champagne in Damaraland, a truly spectacular area of Namibia with beautiful landscapes.

The setting sun blasts out its beautiful rays.
